Crews at the Bristol Quarry Landfill continued making progress on enhancements to the landfill gas extraction system this week. A leachate extraction pump was replaced in one of the quarry wells to facilitate removal of liquids from the landfill. Routine maintenance activities were also conducted on the landfill gas system and well heads.
