New valves and additional cleanouts were installed this week in the leachate extraction system to help remove sediment from the liquid conveyance lines at the Bristol Quarry Landfill. Routine maintenance was also conducted on the landfill gas system and well heads, while additional soil was spread around the gas extraction wells to address areas affected by settlement.
