The City of Bristol is making plans to conduct a review of actions taken and progress made to mitigate odors at the Quarry Landfill over the past three years. This process will include current and former experts who have advised the City on multiple elements of landfill management and best practices for closure. More details to follow soon.

At the Quarry Landfill this week, crews conducted extensive maintenance on the leachate extraction system, including the installation of additional leachate pumps, to improve system efficiency.
