Closure activities at the older, adjacent 498 Landfill continue to progress and it’s anticipated that the remaining work should be completed on or around May 8th. Remaining closure tasks include the placement of additional soil, seeding, and installation of the stormwater conveyance channels.
As part of normal maintenance activities this week at the Quarry Landfill, work crews addressed pump maintenance, flare checks, and valve repairs.
