Ongoing remediation work and fine-tuning of systems at the Quarry Landfill continued this week. The Virginia budget, which includes $26.5 Million to help pay for the remediation efforts at the landfill, is still being finalized. The city remains grateful to our elected leaders who worked diligently to fight for this funding, and to our residents for their patience as we continue to make improvements at the landfill.
