Despite additional weather challenges this week, crews completed the placement of the 8-inch header pipe in the southern area of the quarry landfill. A 12-inch header pipe is currently being installed in the northern end of the landfill to promote more efficient gas extraction, and dewatering pumps are being added into the wells to provide increased removal of liquid and condensate from the quarry landfill.
