Significant rain this week will slow fieldwork involving heavy equipment. Other regular maintenance activities are ongoing, including pump repairs, maintenance, and replacement. Crews have identified a few pumps lodged in wells that will need to be removed and replaced. Finally, the benzene/leachate treatment system tanks were cleaned this week to remove sludge buildup, and the extracted waste was sent to an off-site waste treatment facility.
