Normal maintenance at the Quarry Landfill continued this week, including well and sidewall odor mitigation readings, flare checks, rebuilding pumps, and adjustments to the gas pressure system. Additionally, the City continues to move forward in achieving a significant milestone at the older, adjacent landfill. Closure activities are nearing a successful end, following tremendous efforts by landfill staff, construction crews and engineering teams.
