Crews continued fine-tuning the gas extraction wells and the Sidewall Odor Mitigation System (SOMS) within the quarry landfill. At the older landfill adjacent to the quarry landfill, crews are welding pipe in preparation for installation of the gas collection system. Installation of the geomembrane cover, which is currently being manufactured specifically for the site, will commence after the gas collection system work is completed.
