City of Bristol Advises Residents of Wintry Weather and Cold Temperatures Forecast This Weekend.
BRISTOL, VA — According to the National Weather Service, the Bristol area is expected to experience wintry weather this weekend beginning today, including moderate snow accumulation and cold temperatures that may create hazardous travel conditions.
While snowfall amounts are currently forecast to be moderate, cold temperatures are expected to persist, increasing the potential for slick roads, icy surfaces, and difficult travel conditions throughout the day and into the evening.
Residents are encouraged to:

City of Bristol, Virginia Administrative offices will be closing today at 2PM due to potential hazardous weather conditions forecasted for this evening.
Bristol Emergency Management is monitoring conditions closely and will respond as needed to address weather-related impacts. Public Works crews will be working around the clock as conditions allow, and residents are asked to remain patient as crews prioritize safety.
